Surf Camp

Monday the 23rd we took the bus from Sydney to Seven Mile Beach for four days of surfcamp. During these days we had breakfast, surfed two hours, had lunch, surfed two hours, had dinner and went to sleep. That's a surfers life, they eat, sleep and surf. They go to bed early so that they can get up really early in the morning to catch the best waves. So that's exactly what we did during surfcamp!

Surf Camp "hang out" area where we had our meals etc.

We walked up the hill to take a photo of the seven mile long and wonderful beach

Me and Marika, a new friend from Malmo! She's the funniest person I have ever met!

At the good bye party. Me and McLovin(also one of the kitchen staff at surfcamp). Everybody has funny nicknames haha!

Me and Elin won a competition each at the good bye party! I won 2 nights and 3 days of sailing at Whitsundays! That's what I was planning to do and now I've got it for free, AWESOME! Im saving that trip for when Viktor comes down to see me and we'll do that together =)

So, right now it's friday night and this morning we arrived to Byron Bay for the last 3-4 days of surf camp, but this trip without instructors. So me and Elin are all on our own! Elin's cousin lives here so tomorrow she's taking us to a beach where we can surf!

Monday morning we check out from our hostel and tuesday the 1st of december we're flying from Brisbane to New Zeeland.

Update day 1-4

First day sightseeing in Sydney. This is Harbor Bridge!

The Operahouse!

We walked through Chinese gardens located right behind the opera house. There was thousands of bats hanging in the trees, we thought it was really cool!

Beutiful flowers

A seahorse, shark and a crocodile at Sydney Aquarium

The swedish gang at Manly Beach! In the back Lara and Emily, in the front from the left Johan, Marika, Felix and Elin.

19 nov thursday

Yesterday me and Elin went to the premiere of New Moon, it was sooo good!
Today we started out at the opera house and it was amazing. When Elin and I saw the opera we both got chills. We walked around a national park and saw a lot of bats and other crazy animals. We also went to Sydney Aquarium and saw lots of cool animals.
I can sum the day up by saying we walked very long and far and got to see most of things. Sydney is a really cool, cleen and layed-back city but I am looking forward to coming more close to the beach and further up the east coast.

Now, it's been a little problem with our New Zeeland flight, we booked 1 dec-2 jan, but on our ticket is says that we are going back to Australia 21 of januari.. And we can't afford to be there so long so we have to contakt Air New Zeeland to se if we can come to New Zeeland a little bit later in december. I hope it works out..!

A cuple of things i've learnt about Australia so far:
-Everybody says "whatever" ALL the time. "If you go there and back or whatever. If i said that or whatever. I went there and saw that and whatever. If you want to by this bag or whatever you have to bla bla."
-You only have like halv a second to pass the road when the green walkdude sign lights up. It lights up for MAX a second so you have to run like an idiot to get to the other side or else you're kethup! Haha.

Right now we live in chinatown but we have to check out saturday, and we have booked two nights(saturday night and sunday night) at a new hostel right by the opera until monday then when the surfcamp starts. Jeeha!
